Saying No to Modern Masters

Hello

Just a quick post, saying no to Modern Masters. For those who are thinking about buying Modern Masters, I strongly suggest to not only shop around for the best deals but also to think about this fact. Modern Masters is pre-selling for a high price right now. But if you wait until after the release of Modern Master you can save a lot of money. The reason
being that Wizards is going to have a second run of Modern Masters to meet the demand that is being placed on the set. Currently after talking to some of the venders and other shop owners they are being told that there will be a second run, which should drive the prices per box down.

Additionally the prices for the singles will all drop after the release with multiple online retails and shops buying up the boxes and cracking them and not wanting to be left holding a bunch of cards they cannot move because modern is a hard format to buy into and seeing very low play in local shops.  These shops will compete with one another to sell cards.

For those of us who want to save money just wait and buy up the singles few weeks afterwards, these cards will only go down in value not up. The Modern Format is already cemented in place and the value of cards only go up during modern season. Majority of the cards being printed in Modern Masters don't see play. With multiple cards being sold for lower then normal prices after the release waiting is your best option.

On a side note we have moved our entire store to TCGplayer
