White Review M14

Hello

With M14 is only a couple of weeks away we should look over some of the cards from the set.  These are only White.... Clearly


Ajani's Chosen

Creature - Cat Soldier Rare
Whenever an enchantment enters the battlefield under your control, put a 2/2 white Cat creature token onto the battlefield. If that enchantment is an Aura, you may attach it to the token.

Its a not a terrible card, but the danger for this card if there is no Rancor in this core set, if that is true this card will be EDH card only. The reason this card is only ok because it doesn't effect the field and doesn't work in a standard environment. While Bant Hexproof is a powerful deck its not worth the money and majority of the cards will be rotating.

Planeswalker - Ajani Mythic Rare
+1: Put a +1/+1 counter on up to one target creature.
-3: Target creature gains flying and double strike until end of turn.
-8: Put X 2/2 white Cat creature tokens onto the battlefield, where X is your life total.

This is the second time around we got Ajani, Caller of the Pride. Its kinda sad I was hoping for something better, didn't really see play in current standard and most likely will not after the ISD rotation. 





Angelic Accord

Not really a thing, its nothing that will effect the standard environment. Gaining life is not really a winning game strategy until you win because of an effect.

I really really really want this card to be good. Back in the day when Lorwyn was a thing, and plainswalker were balanced and good there was a card called Bane Slayer, this card broke things in a way where your deck needed to have it or be able to deal against it. I really hope this card will be that but more balanced. I would get a play set while they only 15 bucks.

Once again, its ok. Limited card for a limited deck. 

Banisher Priest

Now this card might replace fiend hunter when ISD rotates, but I really don't see this card going far. Shock is a real thing and this guy will disappoint you every time.

Bonescythe Sliver

Might be a real thing, if you have three slivers with flying, and haste and other nonsense this card is great. But if you just this card it will be bad. Once again this card fails the shock test so its not that great.
